How long does the body camera battery last?
Up to 8 hours of continuous recording on one charge, enough for a full shift. It charges with a USB-C cable, which is in the box.
Does the body camera record sound?
Yes. The built-in microphone records sound with the video. Recording laws differ by state: some states, including Florida, require everyone's consent to record a private conversation. Check your state law and your company policy before you record.
Is the body camera waterproof?
It is IP65 weatherproof: protected against rain, splashes and dust, so you can wear it outside in bad weather. It is not for swimming or submersion.
Does it come with a memory card?
Yes. A 64 GB microSD card is in the box, so it records out of the box. It also takes larger cards up to 256 GB. With loop recording on, the camera replaces the oldest footage when the card is full, so it keeps recording.
Can I watch the video on my phone?
Yes. Connect the camera to the Wi-Fi app to watch, save and share clips on your phone. You can also check the shot on the camera's 1.3-inch screen.
How does the body-worn camera attach?
A magnetic clip on the back holds it to a shirt pocket, vest or strap. With a handlebar mount (sold separately) it also works as a bike camera or motorcycle camera.
Does it record at night?
It has a built-in LED light for low light at close range, such as stairwells, parking garages and early-morning routes. It is not an infrared night-vision camera, so very dark open areas will look dark.
Is this a good body cam for security guards?
Yes. It clips high on the chest for a clear view, the battery lasts a full shift, and it is IP65 weatherproof for outdoor patrols. It is also a good work camera for delivery, field service and warehouse teams.
